This set of 2 plates with six angels altogether: Michael the Archangel, Uriel, Raphael, Teadkiel, Piel, and Mittaron. Images irregularly cut, from just inside to just outside the plate line (see pics); and mounted onto heavier laid paper, 11.25″ x 8.0″. With margins, 13.5″ x 10.5″. Other than the irregular cuts, images are clean and sharp, very bold impressions, highly detailed. Fine examples of Old Master Netherlandish engravings in its heyday. Framed, 20″ x 14″ in matte black metal, with hinged archival mats, plexiglass, conservation backing. Ready-to-hang!
