Handwritten and illuminated in Paris, c.1240., on fine vellum, translucent. 6.3″ x 4.3″ EXCELLENT condition; minor handling to outer margin (see pics). Text regards Jesus’ final visit to Jerusalem: his triumphal entry (as Messiah) and symbolic destruction of the temple — the chief reasons for his execution.
