Manuscript, date unknown, presumably 19th century, on creamy vellum, artistically rendered around the psalmist’s idea of Israel’s unwavering faith and confidence in the Lord based on God’s faithfulness to Israel. The “wideness” of this confidence is depicted in the miniature within the illuminated open sky of the “L” Large size: 16″ X 16″, illuminated edges 13″ x 11.5″. Meticulously illuminated in GOLD; painted in GREEN, ORANGE, RED, BLUE, WHITE, and BROWN. Evidence of tape residue to edges. EXCELLENT condition overall; ink is strong and sharp; vellum has contracted a bit around the text; very clean, without tears. Suitable for framing.
