Darlow & Moule 4200. Apart from the Laodicean Letter, this early “Roman Catholic” translation largely follows Luther’s OT (1524-32) and Emser’s NT (1528). SUPERIOR condition. Text of Hebrews compares the old and new “testaments” (or covenants). The Laodicean letter was included in all German Bibles until Luther; it is known only in Latin and contains 19 verses; see Col.4:16, but its 1st century authenticity is suspect.
