2 PETER 1:10-3:18. “Interpreting Scripture”. Printed in Geneva by John Crispin, 1568. 2nd quarto ed., smaller than the 1560 first ed. but with all “essential parts” the same. 8.25″ x 5.3″. Reference: Herbert 130. [Three title dates were used in this identical edition: 1568, 1569, 1570; but for the sake of historical accuracy I have separated the 1568 leaves from the 1569 leaves, noting their title date.] Ruled-in-red. FINE- condition. Moderate soiling and staining; repaired closed tear to bottom margin (see pics). A rare date to find. After the 1568-70 edition, the next wasn’t until 1576, still a very desirable date.
