PSALMS 71:1-73:28. “The Glory of the God of Israel”. Printed in Geneva by John Crispin, 1569. 2nd quarto ed., smaller than the 1560 first ed. but with all “essential parts” the same. 8.25″ x 5.3″. Reference: Herbert 130. [Three title dates were used in this identical edition: 1568, 1569, 1570; but for the sake of historical accuracy I have separated the 1568 leaves from the 1569 leaves, noting their title date.] Ruled-in-red. FINE condition; lightly soiled (see pics). A rare date to find. After the 1568-70 edition, the next wasn’t until 1576, still a very desirable date.
