Uncut plate on medium weight laid paper, plate 12.5″ x 8″. With margins, 13″ x 9″. Blank verso. Excellent condition, clean and sharp. A finely detailed impression, with many shades of darkness pierced by lightening illuminating the waves. Caption in Latin and German.
