A nice example of a very early Luther Bible leaf, with a central leaf from Romans, citing Paul’s doctrine of “justification by faith [alone]” where Luther famously adds “alone/allein” to the Greek in translation, emphasizing the central role of faith in making a person “right” (or “justified”) before God. Text also includes Paul’s famous chapter on Faith, modeled after Abraham.
