Image is 9″ x 5.75″. With margins 11″ x 8.2″. This “emblematic” engraving of was designed as a teaching aid and originated with the Jesuit community; note the letters A thru G in the engraving, and the legend below. This fine example comes from the “After Pentecost” season, depicting 7 allegorical scenes A thru G.
