Slightly shaved outer margin; minor spotting. 1 Huge Woodcut Initial, 1 smaller. This Bible mostly represents Tyndale’s translation (though portions of the OT may have been reworked by Coverdale), published posthumously by John Rogers using the pseudonym Thomas Matthew. Note that the large woodcut at 1:1 contains the letters I – R – A which spells “wrath/anger” in Latin.
