ISAIAH 9:6-11:15. “The Prince of Peace” (Ch 9). Handwritten and illuminated in Paris France, c.1230-1240, on very fine vellum. 6.6″ x 4.3″. EXCELLENT condition; lower outer corner rounded; a few marginal notes. This early manuscript text includes the famous “Christmas” oracle (9:6-7) and the equally famous “messianic” oracle (11:1-11).
