JUDGES 9:11-10:16. “Abimelech, King of Israel”. Rare, V. LARGE Manuscript leaf, 11.6″ x 8″, produced in Paris at, or in the manner of, the famous Johannes Grusch Workshop, c.1250-1275. SUPERIOR Condition. Rubricated throughout, with 1 nicely drawn initial “P”, 6-7 lines tall, in RED and BLUE with scrolling artwork top to bottom, on very fine vellum. COA on premium “gold leaf” paper. Leaf and COA set in a museum quality Portfolio approx. 13″ x 10″.
