FINE+ condition, light browning to top edge, single smudge (see pics). Small folio, 10.25″ x 6.75″. Text begins the oracles of “Third Isaiah” (Ch 56-66) written after the Babylonian Exile c.530 BCE in the ongoing struggle to rebuild the Temple. The prophet reaffirms the preaching of Second Isaiah and reassures the remaining exiles that returning to Jerusalem is in accordance to the will of God.
