The Book of Exodus is the formative text for Israel and includes the giving of the NAME of God (Ch 3), the EXODUS proper (Ch 4-15), the wilderness experience including the giving of The Ten Commandments (Ch 20), the Covenant (Ch 24), the Golden Calf (Ch 32), the Covenant Renewed (Ch 33-34), and the Tabernacle (Ch 35-40). The final chapters of GENESIS are attached to the Title of EXODUS, and the Title to LEVITICUS is attached to the final page of Exodus.
