FINE condition. On fine linen rag. This is a 98 page leaf-set: A1-A5, fol 1-93, 1-4, Morning Prayer: 3 pages [apparently lacks the 4th page]. Leaves mostly in fine or better condition, mostly full headings and headlines; some minor spotting. Leaves are very loosely held together in the original binding, though some are not. Pictures of early leaves and final leaves. COA on premium “gold leaf” paper w. gold seal. Sets in an archival box for safe-keeping of the set. GENERAL TITLE LEAF TO BIBLE NOT INCLUDED. **Note: this “Whole Book of Psalms” is NOT the Biblical Book of Psalms, but rather most of those Psalms and church creeds, liturgical and biblical hymns set to music by Sternhold and Hopkins, orig. published in 1562 (but started in 1548 with just 44 psalms) and part of the standard liturgical service in England and elsewhere for over 200 years. The Genevan protestants expanded the set of psalms to include in their Bibles.**
