PSALMS 68:12-70:5. “The God of our Salvation” (68:20). Printed in Geneva by John Crispin, 1569. 2nd quarto ed., smaller than the 1560 first ed. but with all “essential parts” the same. 8.25″ x 5.3″. Reference: Herbert 130. [Three title dates were used in this identical edition: 1568, 1569, 1570; but I have separated the 1568 leaves from the 1569 leaves, noting their title date.] Ruled-in-red. FINE+ condition (see pics). A rare date to find. After the 1568-70 edition, the next wasn’t until the small folio of 1576 (10″ x 7″), also a very desirable date. Text describes what is most important about the God of Israel: conquering Sin and Death.
