A wildly popular text from a rare first edition! The first official revised edition of the 1611 edition. Text includes all of Chapters 11, 12, 13, and 14. Each Chapter is a powerhouse in its own right, but Ch 12 on the Body of Christ and Ch 13 on “love” are together the center-piece of of Paul’s vision of the new community in Christ. In Ch 13, “charitie” translates the original Greek agape (familial love) which Paul uses to describe God’s love for us in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
