Handwritten and Illuminated in RED and BLUE scrolling penwork, w. contemporary marginal notes, in Paris, France, c.1250 (or possibly earlier, to 1240). 6″ x 4″. EXCELLENT condition; minor light stain to inner corner (see pics). COA on premium “gold leaf” paper. Text contains the Bible’s GREAT PROMISE.
