Cut to the plate and pasted onto heavier laid paper; lightly washed to simulate antiquity. Clean and sharp impression. Number 4 (IIII) on the plate, in a series of 7 plates in the series “Creation of the World” in Imago Bonitatis Illias. Engraving size: 10″ x 7.75″; with full margins 13″ x 10″ (margins are wavy, but doesn’t affect the plate; see pics). From the story in Genesis 1. This superb engraving was exhibited at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, Salem, OR, as part of the Exhibit “Holy Beauty” from Feb-Apr, 2018, and is framed exactly as in that Exhibit. COA on premium “gold leaf” paper with gold seal and signature, affixed to the back of the frame.
