Clean, sharp impressions, uncut, with full margins on fine laid paper, lightly toned; minor wrinkles to some inner margins; minor repairs to some lower edges. Excellent overall (see pics). Numbered in pen above the plate line, upper right, 166-171. Engraving size: 10.75″ x 7.75″. Full, uncut sheet: 13.5″ x 11″. Very strong impressions. Richly detailed. This iconic series, based on the apocryphal Book of Tobit, inspired countless artists over the centuries as a fine example of domestic life centered around Tobit’s son Tobias.
