Printed at Cambridge University Press by Theo: Buck & Roger Daniel, 1638 [OT w. undated engraving, NT dated 1637, colophon 1638]. Reference: Herbert 521, ESTC S90543, STC 2327.5.  Complete as intended in every respect. RULED-IN-RED throughout. Clean, uncut, bright, crisp, high-quality thick linen-cloth paper. Occasional minor edge wear, light foxing. Original plain end pages with contemporary paste downs. [Any shadowing in pictures is due to photographic lighting; there are no shadows on the bible itself]. Contemporary full calf leather bindings, gilt edging and tooling. General wear, edge scuffs, minor chipping to boards and spines (needs reinforcement); otherswise strong and sturdy. Rarely seen in four original volumes, each vol. 9.5″ x 7″. Rarer than the London edition, this bible edition precedes the newer 1638 Cambridge folio edition and thus remains unedited since the 1629 first Cambridge edition.
